Payments

  • Your first monthly payment will be due one month after your mortgage is advanced.

If that exact date doesn’t exist in a particular month, your payment will be due on the last day of that month instead. After that, your payments will follow a regular schedule on your chosen due date.

If your due date falls on a non-business day, don’t worry! Your payment will simply move to the next business day in the same month (if available) or the previous business day if not.

  • We want to make managing your mortgage as easy as possible, so you can change your payment due date anytime to better suit your needs.

If your new date means a small adjustment in interest, we’ll let you know the exact amount and when it needs to be paid—no surprises!

You can choose a payment date that works best for you, anytime up until the 28th of the month. If you’d like to make a change, just get in touch, and we’ll update it for the following month (subject to clause 5.11 of our terms and conditions).

  • You’re welcome to make extra payments on your mortgage—whether as a one-off lump sum or regular overpayments.

Depending on your mortgage product, an early repayment charge may apply. If so, we’ll always be upfront about it. You’ll find all the details in your mortgage illustration and mortgage offer, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
